VIVARIUM
Protect what you’ve built — and the people who’ll carry it on.
BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENTWhat you’re really protecting
Life insurance isn’t really about you. It’s about the people who are still here afterward — and whether the hardest day of their lives also has to be the day the bills start piling up.
Done right, it quietly settles the things that would otherwise land on them: the funeral and final expenses, the mortgage and keeping the home, and a little something left behind that says you thought of them. That’s all it is — a way to make sure the people you love get to grieve, and nothing more.
Four reasons not to put it off
It only gets more expensive
Life insurance is priced on your age and your health, and both move in one direction. Every birthday nudges the premium up, and waiting never makes it cheaper — the lowest price you’ll ever be offered is the one on the table today.
You have to qualify before you need it
Here’s the part people miss: you can’t buy coverage once you’re already sick. A single diagnosis can take the option off the table for good. Locking it in while you’re healthy is the whole game.
The risk is already here
Being uninsured doesn’t feel like anything — until the one day it does. If something happened this week, your family would feel it immediately, with nothing in place to soften it. The gap is quiet right up until it’s everything.
The relief starts the day you sign
And once it’s handled, it’s handled. You stop turning it over at night, stop meaning to get around to it, and get back to living — knowing the people you love are taken care of, no matter what.
An agent in your corner

Alex Elsing
Alex Elsing was born and raised right here in Trenton — the same town his father grew up in. After five years of college baseball (two at Kaskaskia, two at Murray State, and a final year while earning his graduate degree at McKendree), he came home to build something of his own.
He started Vivarium as an independent agent for one simple reason: to serve his community on his own terms. No company quotas, no scripts handed down from a boardroom — just honest advice and the freedom to do right by the person in front of him. He’ll tell you straight: he’s here to help bring a little integrity back to an industry that could use more of it.
When he’s not helping families protect what matters, you’ll find him coaching local baseball teams, lending a hand with league operations, and turning up at community events and local small businesses. Trenton isn’t just where Alex works — it’s home, and the people here are his neighbors.
Let’s have one honest conversation
It takes about fifteen minutes. No forms to wade through and no pressure — just a straight conversation about where you stand and what it would take to protect the people you love. Pick a time that works for you, and Alex will handle the rest.
